Local QR generation

QR patterns for URLs, text, Wi-Fi and contact details are created in your browser. We do not store those QR payloads in a QR Studio account. Interface theme preference may be kept in your browser's local storage.

Optional temporary file uploads

If you use the file-upload feature, the file and its technical metadata are stored in Cloudflare R2 and D1. Anyone who knows the unique file link can download the file. Files stop being served 30 days after upload and are scheduled for physical deletion; deletion jobs and storage lifecycle processing can take additional time. We do not promise files are confidential or safe for sensitive information. Basic, salted one-way hashes of network addresses are temporarily used to limit spam and abusive uploads.

Contact form

If you submit a message, your name, email address and text are sent to our mail provider and delivered to the site operator. QR Studio does not offer a public directory of those messages. The email provider and recipient's mailbox may retain them under their respective policies.

Security and infrastructure

Cloudflare serves the site, protects submission forms using Turnstile and may process technical request information under its own policies. Our site does not implement its own advertising trackers. The QR Studio service can include provider-required security cookies or similar security technologies.

Retention and requests

File links expire after 30 days; anti-abuse records are periodically removed. For early file deletion, correction, privacy questions, or reports of harmful material, use the contact form and include the file's URL if relevant. We respond when reasonably possible.
